Talkin’ It Up – A Mental Health Wellbeing Forum for Local Youth
The Rotary Club of Monbulk & District were proud grant recipients who supported the Youth Mental Health Forum, held in conjunction with the Rotary Clubs of Belgrave and Emerald & District.
👬 The forum brought together local youth, parents, and carers to openly discuss mental health issues.
✨ Speakers included Keynote speaker Professor Sophie Havighurst, representatives from Headspace and local GP Dr Dan (Dr Dan’s Medical Clinic) shared strategies, resources, and insights to help strengthen the support available through families, schools, and the wider community.
It was a powerful evening where our community came together to break down stigma and ensure our young people felt supported and heard. 💙
